Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst who will carry out testing which are consistent with L&G Test Policy and Strategy, working with the Test Manager / Portfolio Test Manager to ensure that efficient testing is delivered to the agreed quality standards, time, and budget.

What you'll be doing

• Defining the appropriate testing approach, including manual and automated testing.
• Developing and executes test plans and test cases. Implements scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks.
• Collaborating across parties involved in product, systems or service design and development to enable comprehensive test coverage.
• Analysing and reporting on test activities, results, issues, and risks, including the work of others, and take ownership where appropriate.
• Facilitating the sharing, collaboration, and communication of knowledge. Identifies and implements process improvements.
• Supporting Test Manager / Portfolio Test Manager in resourcing and recruitment initiatives.
• Overseeing the testing activities performed by 3rd party suppliers.
• Helping develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships
• Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)

Qualifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level - Required
• Test Analysis & Design | Comprehensive understanding of a variety of test analysis techniques and their implementation.
• Test Implementation & Execution | Comprehensive understanding of the creation and execution of test scripts.
• Customer Awareness | Good Understanding of the different drivers and needs of customers, distributors, and partners.
• Business & Industry | Working knowledge Finance Industry and of competitor markets and broader market developments and can evaluate their impact upon the organisation.
• IT & Systems | Good understanding of a variety of Test Tools such as ALM, Jira etc.
• At least 2 years’ experience with test methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.) across multiple projects.
• Experience in using a test tool to control scripting and execution of tests.
• Experience in use of defect management tools.
• Experience in use of industry recognised test analysis techniques.
