Job Description

Maternity cover, to lead on candidate and entry level employee engagement. Including the management of Future Talent employees on graduate/apprenticeship programmes as well as the design and execution of post offer strategies required to engage our offered candidates (post assessment centre). This role will also be the lead for attraction events with schools and universities to ensure we attract top diverse talent to our Future Talent opportunities.  

What you will be doing;

Responsible for inputting into and executing the Candidate Experience Post Offer and Employee Engagement strategy, ensuring that new employees feel supported and engaged from the point of offer through to on programme.

Project management of Future Talent cohort internal events, as well as:

  • Creating a sense of wellbeing and cohesion across programmes/locations including Lets Connect, My Big Career, Meet the Leader
  • Working with third party suppliers on the provision of Quarterly training

Communications Lead including:

  • Ensuring business stakeholders and Future Talent cohorts receive up to date and relevant communications
  • Responsible for maintenance and improvements of the Future Talent Hub pages
  • Internal comms poc to showcase Future Talent work

Development of Legal and General reputation as a Future Talent employer of choice including Social Media strategy, LinkedIn activity, industry award entries and input Index’s (e.g social mobility index)

Active role to support the planning and delivery of the Intern and Graduate/Apprentice/YII Induction

Attraction Lead including:

  • Responsible for the development and coordination of university and school leaver attraction events, including Spring Start, University Campus, Bright Network and Young Professionals events and other onsite events.
  • Manage Intern Returners cohorts to keep them engaged and leverage their experience
  • Ensure events are effective by analysing event data and ROI
  • Work closely with D&I partners to ensure events are targeted and relevant to support core skills and D&I objectives.

Creation of alumni events and apprentice ambassadors

Effective monitoring & reporting of performance across the Apprentice and Graduate programmes. Ensuring we are gathering meaningful ROI to support SWP.

Support Assessment Centres where required

Qualifications

  • HR or Future Talent related background would be beneficial
  • Understanding of apprenticeships and graduate schemes desirable
  • Event management/coordination experience
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Communication and influencing skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Problem Solving
  • Budget Administration
  • Strong IT knowledge
  • Management of apprenticeship or graduate programmes would be beneficial
  • Financial services experience desirable
