Job Description

L&G Affordable Homes (L&GAH) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Legal & General, tasked with bringing a much-needed increase in the supply of affordable homes through the use of institutional capital to the UK social housing sector.

As a business with ambitious plans to scale-up, our growth is rapid and our model aims to capture and use data digitally to drive service quality and operating efficiency.

As an Asset Management Analyst you will ensure that the end to end approach to asset management is robust and delivers the best commercial and quality outcomes to the business and its customers.

Duties include:

  • Support the Property & Technical Manager to ensure the appropriate levels of asset and component data is captured. 
  • Quality assure component data in line with Component Project Plan, 
  • Ensure component data is maintained and quality assured through the component lifecycle including repairs and maintenance, servicing and planned replacement.
  • Maintain component catalogue including addition of new component models, ensuring accuracy.
  • Capture, evaluate and review product lifecycles and replacement costs in line with industry and market conditions annually, or when required.
  • Monitor and maintain portfolio financial performance dashboards to enable strategic asset management reporting.
  • Support the Property & Technical Manager in reviewing home improvement, alteration and adaptation requests received from Management Providers on behalf of customers. 
  • Support the Property & Technical Manager to consider retrofit works as part of our goal in achieving Net Zero Carbon, providing insight to Head of Investment and Compliance and Head of Sustainability.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards, in line with Group expectations at all times.
  • Contribute to policy, practice note and process development and ensure all documentation is up to date and reviewed in line with relevant dates.
  • Continually promote and ensure compliance with the Group’s Equality and Diversity policy and procedures.
  • Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Degree educated or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in affordable housing, residential property management and/or property surveying.
  • Experience of largescale data review and maintenance
  • Experience of working with Developers and/or residential property managers
  • An accountable and solutions focussed individual who delivers results.
  • A self-driven approach that embraces change and opportunity, whilst supporting senior members of staff
  • Strong attention to detail and successful problem solver
  • Embraces technology and innovation
  • Decisive whilst working at a quick pace
  • A focus on the customer and how your areas of responsibility promote the L&G brand.
