We are seeking an Audit Support consultant to join our Army FIAR team. This role will be performed on a hybrid basis with onsite work expected 2-3 days per week in Tysons Corner, VA or Crystal City, VA. In this role you will provide subject matter expertise regarding SAP IT security control design, guidance, validation, framework, and expert knowledge to support third-party design and implementation of the Information Technology General Controls that provide Army’s IT systems auditable controls. Must also have expertise in Financial Management with a focus on ERP systems and SAP experience. Additional duties include:1. Attend EBS-C business process sprints and provide subject matter expertise regarding SAP IT security control design.2. Provide expertise on modules/applications/tools to support S4/HANA On-premises IT security (authentication, SIEM, interface file processing, audit logging, etc.).3. Identify IT control gaps in Army legacy systems that would impact EBS-C auditability and compliance; make recommendations for future state control design in EBS-C.4. Provide ERP configuration recommendations that support auditability, security, and compliance.5. Provide rules, guidance, validation, framework, and expert knowledge to support third-party design and implementation of the Information Technology General Controls that provide Army’s IT systems auditable controls.6. Through coordination with EY business process teams, gain an understanding of the audit issues identified within Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) that were issued by the Army's Independent Public Accountant (IPA) ahead of EBS-C business process sprint sessions. Subsequent to gaining an understanding of audit issues impacting the current system environment for the Army, communicate requirements recommendations that would mitigate these issues within the future state EBS-C environment.7. Prior to attending the EBS-C business process sprints, review business process documentation to gain an understanding of the existing process within the Army so that we are better prepared to provide recommendations to the client.8. Subsequent to the completion of EBS-C business process sprints, develop recommendations, in the form of white papers, for the requirements that are needed to mitigate audit risks within the future state EBS-C environment
Required Skills/Experience
Active Secret security clearance (interim OK)
Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management or CPA or CISA or PMP or CGFM or CDFM
Must have 4 years of experience with federal financial management, and 2 years of federal accounting experience.
