We are seeking an Audit Support consultant to join our Army FIAR team. This role will be performed on a hybrid basis with onsite work expected 2-3 days per week in Tysons Corner, VA or Crystal City, VA. In this role you will provide ITGC and internal audit support to Office of the Chief of Army Reserve (OCAR). The focus will be on the in-scope Army information systems and Service Provider systems/processes relevant to Army’s strategic goal of obtaining an audit opinion.
Required Skills/Experience
Active Secret security clearance (interim OK)
Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management or CPA or CISA or PMP or CGFM or CDFM
Must have 4 years of experience with federal financial management, and 2 years of federal accounting experience.
Personnel should have complete understanding of FISCAM, NIST 800-53, IT General Controls, and IT Application Controls, as well as testing and providing recommendations for various IT controls with additional experience in the below areas relating to their specific process:
Thorough knowledge in assessing and testing ITGC's and ITAC's with the ability to provide recommendations that reduce IT risks.
Assisting with development of IT polices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and development of corrective action plans (CAPS)
Developing Risk Assessments and creating Risk Profiles across OCAR.
Analyzing large data sets and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of data, using Excel, PowerBI, or other data analytics tools.
Conducting trainings on how to mitigate the risks and establishing internal controls with Army stakeholders.
Ability to travel 15% -25% of the time.
Project management skills to monitor all tasks and follow up with client organizations as needed
Technical skills needed to prepare status reports for the project and other client presentations as needed
