Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and results-driven leader to join our team as the Head of Admissions. The Head of Admissions will oversee the entire admissions process, from recruitment strategy to the final enrollment of students. This leadership position requires a dynamic individual with a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for higher education. The successful candidate will have a track record of innovation in admissions processes and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive student body.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Admissions Office, providing vision and direction to ensure the achievement of institutional recruitment and enrollment goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment and admissions strategies that align with the university's goals for diversity, academic excellence, and student success.
• Oversee the evaluation and selection process for applicants, ensuring fairness... transparency, and adherence to admissions policies.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling recruitment materials and outreach campaigns.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze admissions trends, monitor enrollment numbers, and identify opportunities for improvement in the recruitment process.
• Foster relationships with high schools, community organizations, and other external partners to enhance outreach efforts and broaden the applicant pool.
• Lead efforts to improve the student experience during the application process, including application support, campus visits, interviews, and other touchpoints.
• Work closely with Academic Affairs, and Student Services to ensure a seamless transition from application to enrollment.
• Manage the admissions budget, staffing, and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
• Represent University/College at recruitment events, conferences, and other key forums, acting as a spokesperson and ambassador for the institution.
• Lead and mentor a team of admissions professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:
• A Master’s degree in Higher Education, Business, Communications, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in higher education admissions, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
• Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills, with demonstrated success in developing and implementing recruitment strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders including students, families, faculty, and staff.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, lead teams, and work collaboratively across departments.
• A deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the admissions process.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong understanding of current trends in higher education and admissions practices.
