Experienced Economics Teacher - Immediate Start!!

I am recruiting for a fantastic school in Croydon, looking for a talented Economics and Business Studies Teacher with a strong background in delivering Economics lessons to KS3 and upwards.

The school is dedicated to academic excellence and offers a supportive, innovative teaching environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging Business Studies lessons to KS4 and A-Level students, integrating economic principles where appropriate.
• Develop and implement curriculum materials that enhance understanding of business and economics.
• Assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations in Business Studies, incorporating economic insights.
• Contribute to curriculum development and ensure alignment with national standards and current industry practices.
• Promote an inclusive learning environment and support... extracurricular activities such as business clubs and enterprise projects.

Qualifications And Experience
• A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
• Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary school level, with a solid understanding of economics.
• Knowledge of the national curriculum and exam board requirements for GCSE.
• Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.

Essential Qualities
• Experience with diverse learning levels and using data to inform teaching.
• Passion for business and economics education, with the ability to inspire students.
• Proficiency in digital learning tools and enthusiasm for contributing to the school community.
