Job summary
The Admin Manager will be a part of the Senior Admin Team and lead alongside the Head of Department including providing cover, and will be able to demonstrate experience of managing a team and devising new systems.
They will be responsible for the management of processes ensuring an efficient and effective administrative provision to the service and delivery with local management teams, and they will proactively manage projects by sourcing and processing information, of a highly complex and sensitive nature.
This role requires a good understanding of leadership and supporting senior managers and the Head of Service plus involvement in senior projects.

Main duties of the job
Main duties of the role include:
• To deputise for Head of Admin
• To line manage Admin and Clerical staff within the Service area.
• Publicity, including website
• KPI Reporting
• Co-working with other senior managers
• Primary management responsibility for the medical secretary teams
• Ward Administration - management of team, ward admin
• Administration management of Forensic Administration team
• Manage the administration cover arrangements at times of staff absence with Head of Administration.
• Recruitment lead within designated area of Forensic administration team
• To closely work with and provide cover for the B6 Administration Manager colleague
