Job Description

An experience software engineer responsible for the building, maintain, and troubleshooting dotnet/.NET RESTful applications and Data Engineering projects as well as optimizing the CI/Deployment process. Strong knowledge in writing C#, OOP, REST, Cloud-based development, and event-driven architectures a plus. Proficient in Data engineering responsibilities like data ingestion, modeling, transforming, processing, security, and governance. Will work with a team of engineers, help form user stories and Acceptance Criteria from business problems, write technical designs and implement solutions. Help improve DevOps and release processes. Knowledgeable in Machine Learning, AI, NLP, and data flow for model training is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Review business asks to help form technical requirements and solution designs by working with tech leads and product owners.
• Work with a team of engineers contributing to code reviews, suggesting standards/best practices, and define RESTful/other interfaces for UI apps to our services.
• Improve DevOps release processes by working in TeamCity/AWS to make releases more efficient.
• Build RESTful dotnet/C# applications
• Integrate with data sources to improve our AI/ML services, design data pipelines, and identify and manage required infrastructure.
• Proactively identify technical requirements to enable the product to scale, grow, and be easily maintained.
• Report to a Dev Lead /Architect to ensure implementation follows best practices and strategic direction
• Work with QA, UX, UI, Ops, and other product team members to ensure successful releases and sprint planning.

Qualifications

• Strong experience of .NET/C# for building RESTful web applications
• Strong relational Database knowledge "MSSQL", object-based databases "MongoDB" and memory-based "Redis"
• Strong experience working in cloud-based environments, docker-based applications, and relevant application patterns; AWS preferred.
• Experience in Data cleaning, pipelining, ingestion, transformation, monitoring, and security
• Proficient with Python and working knowledge of Python ML Libraries
• Proficient understanding of version control systems such as Git, DevOps CI/CD Pipelines (GitHub/Azure DevOps/TeamCity)
• Knowledge of designing and using patterns for a multi-service architecture.
• Knowledge of building highly performant, maintainable, and scalable solutions
• Knowledge of other system technologies like vector, graph, or time-series databases, working with logging systems, APM, and data warehouse technologies, i.e., Redshift/BigQuery
• Understanding of event-based and queuing technologies, e.g., SQS/SNS, Pub/Sub a plus.
• Understanding of data security and compliance
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Works well in Agile Scrum teams
• 5+ years of relevant development experience
