Web Developer (Magento 2) – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Part Time 3 days per week

We are seeking an experienced Magento Web Developer to join our dynamic team. Based on site in Hove, you will collaborate closely with our operations and marketing departments to contribute to the development of new projects and ensure the ongoing maintenance of our web infrastructure. Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and implement Magento-based ecommerce solutions.
·... Collaborate with internal teams to build new features, optimize existing functionality, and ensure a seamless user experience.
· Maintain and troubleshoot existing web infrastructure, ensuring stability and performance of live websites.
· Develop new modules and customize extensions for Magento, ensuring cross-browser and device compatibility.
· Stay up to date with Magento best practices and implement new technologies to improve website performance and scalability.
· Write and maintain project documentation, including test plans and development roadmaps.
· Optimize website performance, including SEO and speed improvements.
· Ensure the integration of front-end and back-end components in collaboration with designers and system architects.

Required Technical Skills and Experience:
· Magento 2 certification or experience with advanced Magento features.
· Experience troubleshooting and supporting live Magento sites.
· Experience in working with and integrating APIs and third-party services with Magento.
· Expertise in Magento 2 development, including customization and module development.
· Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
· Strong understanding of database design principles and query optimization.
· Ability to write clear and comprehensive project documentation and test plans.
Benefits:
· Salary: £37,000 – £40,000 per year (pro-rata) negotiable dependent on experience.
Schedule:
· Monday to Wednesday, 9am-5pm, office based role.

Pay: £22,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
